Your Squirrel Boss is warranted to be free from manufacturer’s defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from date of purchase. In the event of a defect, we will repair or replace the unit at our option free of charge. This warranty does not cover failure due to improper use and cleaning, neglect, abuse, modification or disassembly. This limited warranty applies only to the original purchaser with a valid sales receipt. - Lifetime Warranty
There is a lifetime warranty on the solar powered roof. If you suspect a solar roof problem, charge the unit with the A/C adapter to make sure the solar roof is properly charged. If the problem persist, just send the solar powered roof back to us along with $16.95 for shipping and handling and we will send you a new solar powered roof and remote control. The feeder tube has a lifetime warranty even for squirrel chewing. Just return the feeder tube along with $12.95 for shipping and handling
Q. Is the Squirrel Boss Bird Feeder SAFE for the birds?
A. Yes. The remote control is only activated when a person pushes the button.
Usually, there will not be a bird on the bird feeder at the same time that a squirrel is on the bird feeder. The bird doesn’t touch enough metal parts
Q. Is the Squirrel Boss Bird Feeder SAFE for the squirrel?
A. Yes. The voltage is not harmful in accordance with the N.F.P.A.(National Fire Protection Agency) National Electric Code for health care facilities.
Q. Is it painful to the squirrel?
A. No. The squirrel feels something similar to a static shock that is uncomfortable enough to cause it to stay away from the bird feeder.
Q. Will the Squirrel Boss Bird Feeder injure my children or me?
A. No. The voltage is too low to cause an injury. It is similar to a static shock.
Q. What happens when I am not home?
A. After only a few corrections the squirrel will stay away from the bird feeder.
Q. What type of bird seed can I use?
A. It holds all types of bird seed and sunflower seeds.
Q. Is it easy to clean?
A. Yes. Simply remove the solar powered roof and spray the feed tube with water to remove unwanted debris. Allow to dry thoroughly either by air drying upside down or gently using a soft towel. It is very simple.
Q. What if I do not have direct sunlight where I hang it?
A. No problem. Every Squirrel Boss Bird Feeder comes with an AC adapter. You may have to recharge the solar powered roof every 7 to 10 days.
Q. Will my bird feed last longer?
A. Yes, bird feed will last longer because the squirrels stay away.
Q. What is the range for the remote control?
A. The remote will work up to 200 feet from the Squirrel Boss Bird Feeder.
Q. What about bears?
A. Yes, We will be adding an optional motion sensor that will work from dusk to dawn.
